4:00-5:00 PM - NCWIT Staff Report, Discussion on “Parents” and “Job Ads” Projects

Presenters Ruthe Farmer (Parents Initiative) and Catherine Ashcraft (Job Ads) 

These are two current projects at NCWIT. The “Parents” initiative is led by the K-12 Alliance and aims to involve more parents in efforts to attract girls to computing. The “Job Ads” project deploys our toolkit for limiting unconscious bias and gendered language in member job postings.
