University of North Carolina - Greensboro
UNCG faculty and staff work closely with students to help them achieve their goals. Whether you're considering an undergraduate or graduate degree, prefer to learn on campus or online, or you simply want to take a few courses for personal and professional enrichment, you'll be well-prepared, supported and inspired. The Information Systems (IS) and Computer Science (CS) department offers programs leading to undergraduate (B.S.) and graduate (M.S.) degrees in Information Systems and Computer Science. The IS Department also offers a Ph.D. in IS. Students gain extensive experience using networked computer systems and contemporary applications software. The courses in the department are designed to teach the foundations of computing rather than a particular technology, so that the student is prepared to change with changing technology. The department assists students with career planning and professional development. The IS program is accredited by AACSB and CS program is ABET accredited.
