Level Up with NCWIT
“If you see it, you can become it… that idea, that notion of inspiring people… is a very powerful thing.” ~ Dave Filoni, Executive Producer/Supervising Director, Star Wars Rebels
Both Dave and NCWIT recognize that the media has a profound impact on societal attitudes. By elevating inspirational female characters and real-life women in tech, girls and women can see themselves as innovative heroes in the real world.
For this reason, NCWIT is proud to team up with EA for the launch of an in-game challenge through Play to Give. Beginning June 12, alongside the kick off of EA PLAY, players of Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes are challenged to deploy a squad of some of the most powerful female characters in Star Wars™ against the droids. Completion of the challenge will unlock shards of Princess Leia, Rey, Barriss Offee, and Ahsoka Tano.
