Science Club for Girls

Science Club for Girls (SCFG) strives to provide the very best in girls-specific programming, by connecting girls in K-12 grades, especially those from underrepresented groups, with female mentor-scientists through free science and engineering programs in a fun, nurturing, interactive environment. Our leadership program for teenage girls gives them the opportunity to be role models, teach young children science, learn life skills, conduct outreach, and explore careers in science and technology.

The Scientista Foundation is a national organization that empowers pre-professional women in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) through content, communities, and conferences. Currently the largest network of campus women across STEM disciplines, Scientista serves to connect all communities of women in STEM at campuses across the nation, giving such important organizations more visibility and resources, and building a strong, cohesive network of women in science that can act as one voice.

SciGirls

SciGirls

SciGirls is a weekly television series and educational outreach program for elementary and middle-school children based on proven best practices for science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education for girls. Launched in February 2011 and produced by Twin Cities Public Television, the episodes are broadcast on most PBS stations. SciGirls is designed to encourage girls to pursue STEM careers, in response to the low numbers of women in many scientific careers.
