The Governor's Office of Information Technology (OIT) is responsible for the operation and delivery of information and communications technology (ICT) services and innovation across all Executive Branch agencies in the State of Colorado. Our mission is to increase the effectiveness of government through the use of shared information and technology.

As the enterprise provider of ICT, OIT oversees technology initiatives at the state level, recommending strategies and maximizing efficiencies of service delivery in a cost-effective manner through the application of enterprise technology solutions. Our enterprise approach also enables the agile delivery of new applications to state agencies that improve citizen access to government services while increasing accountability and transparency.

STEM for Her

STEM for Her, formerly known as Women in Technology Education Foundation, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation, based in the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C. area that promotes education to create awareness, excitement, and opportunities among girls and young women to pursue successful STEM-related careers.
 
STEM for Her is focused on championing programs and initiatives that foster enthusiasm and empower girls and young women to pursue a career in science, technology, engineering and math fields of study. The Foundation offers financial support in a variety of ways as it works towards its vision of empowering women to change the world by excelling in STEM-related careers.

Stevens Institute of Technology

Stevens Institute of Technology creates new knowledge and educates and inspires students to acquire the competencies needed to lead in scientific discovery and in the creation, application and management of technology to solve complex problems and to build new enterprises. Stevens believes that solutions to many of the critical problems that face humanity can be found in improved use and understanding of technology, and that it is the duty of the Institute to produce engineers, scientists and business leaders prepared for this challenge. Inherent in this concept is the requirement that the educational structure and research effort be multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary. It provides researchers with the opportunity to collaborate in research efforts that cut across disciplinary boundaries and also provides the working professional with the broad educational experience that is essential in career enhancement. Stevens demonstrates its commitment through the the incorporation of Technogenesis philosophies, concepts and techniques in the classroom.

Student Veterans of America envisions a nation where all student veterans succeed in post-secondary programs and contribute to civilian society in meaningful ways. SVA provides the resources and support to do so through six major initiatives. We maintain a commitment to Support Chapters through leadership training, grants, and networking opportunities that facilitate the development of successful student-run organizations. An essential component of chapter work is advocating for supportive campus services and programs. At the national level, SVA’s Advocacy efforts ensure policies are not only supportive for veterans in their transition to school and employment, like In-State Tuition, but also for the entire military community.

With more than 26,000 students enrolled at three campuses in Selden, Brentwood and Riverhead, Suffolk County Community College is the largest community college in New York State. They offer Associate in Arts (A.A.), Associate in Science (A.S.), and Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degrees and professional certificates in more than 70 programs of study. They encourage students to learn more about all of their educational opportunities, as well as their recognized athletics programs, student clubs, organizations and support services. Suffolk County Community College is committed to offering programs and services that fulfill the educational needs of the residents of Suffolk County. All of its curricula are registered by the New York State Department of Education. The college grants the two-year Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, and Associate in Applied Science degrees, as established by the Board of Regents of the State University of New York.

Sullivan College of Technology and Design (formerly the Louisville Technical Institute) was founded in 1961 by George Dumbaugh, a professional engineer. Mr. Dumbaugh founded the technology school to repay a kindness extended to him by two individuals who helped him achieve his educational goals as a young man. Little did he realize that his helping hand would extend to thousands of students over the years.

Now, Sullivan College of Technology and Design (SCTD) is accurately perceived as a dynamic, changing, growing college. Due to the nature of the business and technical community it serves, SCTD keeps abreast of industry needs to meet new technologies and high-tech demands.

The objective of the Sandbox is to accelerate the process of ideation, development and deployment through mentoring and coaching. The twelve week experiential based program has an end-goal of producing revenue generating entities or investment ready firms.
