Teach For America is the national corps of outstanding recent college graduates and professionals who commit to teach for two years in urban and rural public schools and become lifelong leaders in the effort to expand educational opportunity. The mission is to build the movement to eliminate educational inequity by enlisting our nation’s most promising future leaders in the effort. They currently place teachers in 43 regions and 31 states across the country.

Teaching & Learning Collaborative (TLC) is a non-profit organization that provides innovative high quality professional development for PreK-12 teachers in mathematics, science, and technology.  Over the last two years, TLC has partnered with Tech Corps on a Computer Science/Computational Thinking professional development initiative  for Grades 3-4 math and science teachers across Ohio.

TechConnectWV is a non-profit coalition committed to the advancement of the innovation economy in West Virginia, focused on four technology sectors: advanced energy, chemicals and advanced materials, biosciences, and biometrics. With broad representation from private industry, the public sector, and higher education, TechConnectWV seeks to diversify the state’s economy, promote economic prosperity and create high-paying jobs. In addition, TechConnectWV hosts an annual Women & Technology Conference to encourage and support women to pursue careers in technology sectors.
