Bryn Mawr College actively supports women in computer science, providing information about jobs available for women and by encouraging a more "female-friendly" work environment. This college promotes the idea that students can combine computer science with multiple disciplines that will give them an advantage over other students in the future. Bryn Mawr College has hosted a variety of speakers dedicated to promoting women in technology, and the university is concerned with images of computing and how they relate to women.
