National Math and Science Initiative

NMSI works to expand access to challenging coursework and improve student achievement through proven programs that consistently produce measurable and lasting results. We partner with schools and districts nationwide to provide extraordinary training and support for teachers and to give students the resources they need to develop and demonstrate knowledge and skills that will propel them throughout their lives.

OpenWorld Learning


OpenWorld Learning (OWL) is a Denver-based, independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that                                                                                                       supports children’s school success by tapping the power of digital technology and peer teaching                                                                                                        to developleadership and ignite a love of learning. OWL provides a fun and challenging after-school                                                                                  educational program centered on teaching advanced computer technology to Denver area students.                                                                                          We aim to offer equal opportunity by offering after-school and summer programs for Title I, 3rd – 8th                                                                                             graders that help them develop digital literacy skills. Our program is a fun and safe way for these students                                                                                         to learn computer technology through projects and peer teaching. We provide these students with real-world                                                                              learning opportunities they may otherwise not have access to, and our programs are proven to improve                                                                                    school attendance and standardized test scores, especially in math. 


Project Lead the Way (PLTW)

Project Lead The Way (PLTW) is the nation's leading provider of rigorous and innovative Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) programs. PLTW's comprehensive curriculum is collaboratively designed by PLTW teachers, university educators, engineering and biomedical professionals and school administrators to promote critical thinking, creativity, innovation and real-world problem solving skills in students. The hands-on, project-based courses engage students on multiple levels, expose them to areas of study that they typically do not pursue, and provide them with a foundation and proven path to college and career success.

Our mission is to reinvent the general perception of women in STEM fields while inspiring interest in STEM for young women nationwide.  Through sharing the stories and experiences of groundbreaking ladies in the field to reporting the latest news in STEM via our magazine, Reinvented Magazine, we hope to pave the way for future generations of women to becoming leading pioneers of STEM.

Ruling Our eXperiences, Inc. (ROX)

ROX is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is focused on the health, safety, education, and empowerment of girls. Our mission is to equip girls with the knowledge and skills needed to live healthy, independent, productive, and violence-free lives. We do this by delivering a 20-week evidence-based empowerment program for adolescent girls that focuses on team-building, healthy friendships and relationships, effective communication, dating and sexual violence prevention, body image, confidence and self-esteem, stress and coping, academic and career development, and leadership.
