The vision of the Paducah Independent School District is to inspire all students to achieve excellence, explore opportunities, and realize their full potential with the goal of preparing all students to be college and career ready upon graduation. Paducah Public Schools will prepare all students through a comprehensive educational program characterized by the pursuit of academic excellence, mutual respect, freedom from bias, personalized instruction and a diverse curriculum to graduate and successfully enter their chosen fields.
Project Lead The Way (PLTW) is the nation's leading provider of rigorous and innovative Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) programs. PLTW's comprehensive curriculum is collaboratively designed by PLTW teachers, university educators, engineering and biomedical professionals and school administrators to promote critical thinking, creativity, innovation and real-world problem solving skills in students. The hands-on, project-based courses engage students on multiple levels, expose them to areas of study that they typically do not pursue, and provide them with a foundation and proven path to college and career success.
