Claremont Graduate University

They are a community of educators and researchers effecting positive social change. Together, we can do great things! When students enter Claremont Graduate University's School of Information Systems and Technology, they will discover a rich, research focused environment, populated by an active and influential faculty and a diverse and creative student body. They are one of a few stand-alone accredited, research-intensive IS&T schools in the nation. Their core courses provide a solid technical grounding in IT systems, while at the same time, addressing the significant management challenges to designing, developing, implementing and assessing IT systems in applied business and governmental settings.

Coastline Community College

Coastline Community College enables women in technology with the following initiatives. First and foremost, they have a partnership with University of California-Irvine Informatics Department. They share curriculum so our students can transfer as juniors to the university Informatics program. They have developed a brochure that is distributed to all of the local high schools and at career events and developed a recruitment video. Plus, they make presentations at the local high schools that include hands-on activities. We are planning to develop a tutoring program using upperclassmen from University of California-Irvine to help students with programming and math. We have a community in MYSPACE to generate interest in Computer Science. They use pairs programming and problem case-based learning to make the courses relevant to industry standards.

The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) is a highly selective institution that has earned national recognition for its commitment to excellence. College of St. Scholastica

The College of St. Scholastica is a Catholic Benedictine institution and the only independent private college in northeastern Minnesota. The College was founded in 1912 by a group of pioneering Benedictine Sisters who offered college courses to six young women. Today St. Scholastica educates more than 4,000 men and women and has graduated more than 18,500 living alumni. The 186-acre Duluth campus is set on a ridge overlooking Lake Superior. The beautiful St. Scholastica campus provides a small, friendly community that enables each student to participate in a variety of activities. A 14:1 student-to-teacher ratio makes it easy for students to seek individualized academic assistance and encouragement. The College offers 20 intercollegiate athletics programs and more than 50 extracurricular offerings. The activities and services of the Student Affairs division foster a diverse, challenging and mutually respectful environment which provides opportunities for students' holistic growth, and the integration of curricular and co-curricular learning.

The Colorado Community College System comprises the state's largest system of higher education.  Its career and academic programs in the 13 state community colleges serve more than 162,000 students annually.  In addition, CCCS oversees 1200 secondary and 800 postsecondary career and technical programs in more than 150 school districts and seven other post-secondary institutions across the state.
