AccessCSforAll is an NSF funded program with the goal of increasing the participation of students with disabilities in K-12 computer science education.
AccessCSforAll develops accessible tools and curricula for teaching Computer Science Principles and other computer science courses. It provides professional development for teachers of students who are blind, deaf, or learning disabled. It serves as a national resource for teachers who have students with disabilities in their computing classes.
Progress On Activity
AccessCSforAll has developed significant tools for K-12 education including new libraries for the Quorum Language. it is providing professional development in Computer Science Principles for teachers of blind and visually impaired students in summer 2018.
All the current curricula for Computer Science Principles are not fully accessible. There is a need for an accessible version.
