    Goal statement 
    As part of our pre-autumn programming for incoming UW CSE freshmen (our most diverse admissions pathway), we will offer a parent/family orientation. The goals of this orientation is to provide all family members with helpful information, resources, and strategies for supporting their students' specific CS academic goals.

    Activity Description 

    A one-day program will present information on CS coursework, industry opportunities, and on-campus support resources. Information will be presented in a way that is accessible for family members with a range of educational and technical backgrounds, expecting no prior CS exposure.
