2017 NCWIT K-12 Alliance Meeting

With the rapid growth of computer science education, there is an urgency to be sure that girls and other underrepresented populations are not being left behind. The K-12 Alliance meeting will use the systemic change model as a framework to discuss the influencers who engage girls and underrepresented students. We will share successful efforts using research proven strategies of outreach, role models, and mentoring. Together, we will identify an Alliance-wide plan of action for moving forward to creating access to authentic, inclusive computer science education for every girl, everywhere.
