2017 NCWIT Academic Alliance Meeting

Join the 2017 Academic Alliance meeting to get inspired, collaborate, and support your colleagues. As a result of last year's feedback, it will be jam-packed with lots of interaction among members. During the afternoon, you will:

  • Engage with members from caucus groups of your choosing as well as from within your regions.
  • Make new connections, identify ways your experiences can help others, and create plans for the future.
  • Learn to document your goals using the NCWIT ACT tool (www.ncwit.org/activities).

Please bring a laptop to get the most out of this session.

Learn from and share resources with colleagues at the caucus group that you selected during registration. Identify plans for making the most out of the NCWIT Summit and develop goals for the upcoming year.

3:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Lightning Talks: Models of Successful Regional Collaboration

Hear a few examples of how NCWIT members have magnified their impact by collaborating with other members in their region.
4:15 p.m. to 5:05 p.m. Regional Collaboration: Action Planning

Meet with other members from your geographical region to identify how you can magnify your impact.
5:05 p.m. to 5:50 p.m. Enter Goals into the NCWIT ACT Tool (www.ncwit.org/activities)

Identify and document goals for your institution moving forward. Enter goals directly into the NCWIT ACT tool, which is important to sustain NCWIT funding and for you to build your network.
