Mae Jemison, M.D., former NASA astronaut and founder, The Jemison Group, Inc.

first African-American woman in space, Dr. Jemison now focuses her
company's projects on the beneficial integration of science and
technology into our everyday lives.
Richard M. Murray, Thomas
E. and Doris Everhart Professor of Control and Dynamical Systems,
Division of Engineering and Applied Science, the California Institute
of Technology
Dr. Murray's research is in the application of feedback and control to mechanical, information, and biological systems.
Lydia E. Kavraki, Noah
Harding Professor of Computer Science and Bioengineering, Rice
University; Graduate Program in Structural and Computational Biology
and Molecular Biophysics, Baylor College of Medicine
Dr.
Kavraki's research contributions are in physical algorithms and their
applications in robotics, as well as computational, structural biology
and bioinformatics.
