K-12 Research and Resources

The K-12 Alliance's Research and Resources subcommittee works directly with NCWIT social scientists, to provide advice concerning educational research and potential resources focused on girls and computing. The subcommittee works to advance existing K-12 related research projects, as well as brainstorm future research projects and resources. In January 2013, the K-12 Alliance published "Girls in IT - The Facts", a comprehensive report about the current state of affairs for girls in technology, synthesizing the best available data into one, easy-to-access resource. The K-12 Alliance is actively working on a microsite devoted to Latinos in Computing, targeted for release in late 2013.
