Background

Jennifer is a graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Family Community Services and lives currently in Portland, Oregon. She has been working with nonprofits for over 14 years including the Portland Volunteer Center as Assistant Director, the Girl Scouts as Program Manager, and the American Cancer Society as Executive Director. Her areas of expertise include building successful volunteer managed programs (capacity building, strategy and infrastructure for sustainability), developing collaborations/partnerships, fundraising, and event planning. She began as consultant with NCWIT in February 2013 and is excited to be leading the build out of the NCWIT AspireIT outreach program for girls.
