Background
Heidi is Vice President of IT Shared Services at USAA, ranked No. 1 on Computerworld magazine’s 100 Best Places to Work in IT for the third year in a row. She currently leads the following departments that ‘make the business of IT better’:

She is an experienced business technology leader with over twenty-five years of diverse general management experience. She has held senior executive positions in financial services, healthcare, technology consulting, software, and public sector finance. She is passionate about leadership, diversity, innovation, and design thinking.
Heidi’s community and professional affiliations include the CIO Executive Council, Society for Information Management, The Councils (Creative Good), MSU Varsity Alumni Club and the United Way Women’s Leadership Council. She has also served on the STEM Advisory Committee (science, technology, engineering and math) for the Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas.
Heidi earned a Master’s degree from MSU’s Broad Graduate School of Management’s Executive MBA Program and holds a B.A. in Accounting from Michigan State University. She is also a graduate of the Society for Information Management’s Regional Leadership Forum and the Center for Creative Leadership’s Executive Development Program.
