Background

Erin Motameni is Senior Vice President of Human Resources for EMC Corporation in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. EMC is a $16B global technology leader in systems, software, services and solutions that helps organizations store, protect, manage and optimize their information. Erin leads the HR teams globally for EMC’s Sales, Services and Cloud organizations with over 20,000 employees. She also has responsibility for EMC’s portfolio of learning and development functions which includes executive and professional development, corporate technical training and EMC customer education. Erin also oversees the Corporate Diversity and Inclusion function.
Erin joined EMC in 1999 as Vice President of Staffing. Prior to EMC, Erin was the Vice President of Worldwide Human Resources for Data General Corporation. Erin began her career with Shawmut Bank of Boston where she held a series of Human Resources positions. She has spent twenty years working in Human Resources in technology organizations.
Erin is a graduate of Boston College and continued with graduate studies in the MBA program at Boston University. She is a volunteer with Big Brother/ Big Sister, is active in many professional Human Resources organizations and is a board member of the Ibis Institute for Women’s Leadership, the Worcester Science Center and the Higgens Armory Museum.
