  • Sit With Me Photo Booth, sponsored by Venmo (Career Fair Booth 134): Take a stand for women in tech by getting your photo taken in the iconic Red Chair of Sit With Me — a national advocacy campaign that provides a gathering place for all people to acknowledge the valuable contributions of women in computing.
  • NCWIT Lounge (Room 227A): Power up your device, grab some snacks, put up your feet, and connect with NCWITers. A full schedule of NCWIT Lounge events is available at www.ncwit.org/NCWITatGHC. Several highlights are below.

EngageCSEdu Demo Session (sponsored by Google): Representatives will provide interactive demos of EngageCSEdu, a website containing a dynamic collection of high-quality, open course materials for introductory computer science courses contributed by faculty from across the country. NCWIT Academic Alliance (AA) Reception (sponsored by Microsoft Research): Representatives from current and prospective members of NCWIT’s AA will gather to network and compare best practices for implementing change for their post-secondary computing programs. (www.ncwit.org/aa) Room 227A

1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
NCWIT Pacesetters Meet-up: Members of NCWIT Pacesetters (including representatives from startups, large companies, and higher education institutions) will convene to discuss innovative approaches for increasing their organization’s number of technical women at an accelerated pace.
