University of Denver

The Women's College of the University of Denver (TWC) blends a collaborative, engaging learning community with a challenging academic experience. Their students and faculty have a passion for education and their passion co-creates a stimulating and rewarding environment. Moreover, students graduate from degree and certificate programs with academic knowledge and skills for personal and professional success. At the Women's College, we prepare women to boldly lead in the communities where they live, work, and engage. The ITS program is an inter-disciplinary degree aimed at ensuring students appreciate how technology applications are developed and introduced for use by people and organizations. Course offerings include project management, leadership, communication and problem solving, as well as the typical IT classes in programming, networking, database principles and computer security. The program has identified three "concentration areas" through which students can take courses that align with specific career aspirations: business / systems analysis, technology, and leadership.
