In addition, the Computer Science Department at BU is currently working closely with the Academic Alliance to recruit, retain, and engage more women in the field of computing and technology. Through a combination of BU Colleges, Departments and Centers, the Boston Area Girls STEM Collaboration, and membership in the Boston Chapter of the CSTA, BU has a combined reach that extends over the Metropolitan Boston Area and across the state.
