The NCWIT Workforce Alliance (WA) works to recruit and retain more women into IT occupations and leads NCWIT’s efforts in corporate institutional reform. Workforce Alliance members are dedicated to improving the IT industry and profession in order to increase and value the participation of women and other underrepresented minorities. The Workforce Alliance facilitates ongoing projects, such as research concerning women's career issues; contributes promising practices and ideas for career development and industry programs; provides advice about K-12 and higher-education outreach programs; and supports NCWIT and its national advocacy mission.
