Jenny Slade is the National Center for Women & Information Technology's Communications Director. She directs NCWIT's marketing and organizational collateral, supervises NCWIT's website, and assists with the crafting of reports, outreach materials, grant proposals, effective practices, and the annual Scorecard. Prior to joining NCWIT she served as Outreach Coordinator for the ATLAS Institute, where she worked with Executive-in-Residence and NCWIT CEO Lucy Sanders on a range of technology, gender, and diversity-related initiatives. Ms. Slade has held project management positions at Wall Street On Demand and CableLabs, and has worked as a freelance writer and editor for a number of lifestyle publications. She attended the University of Pennsylvania and studied technical editing at the University of California at Berkeley.
